【简介】：英国著名的Muse(缪斯乐队)，由吉他手兼主唱马休·贝拉米（Matthew Bellamy），贝斯手克里斯·沃尔斯滕霍姆（Chris Wolstenhome）和鼓手多米尼克·霍华德（Dominic Howard）三位成员组成。由于厌倦了家乡Teignmouth，Devon毫无生气的生活，这三位好朋友决定开始一起玩音乐。在Muse的这三位成员刚刚聚到一起开始正式组乐队的时候，他们都只有13岁。在不同时期，他们共用过Gothic Plague，Fixed Penalty和Rocket Baby Dolls做过乐队名。1997年，乐队正式更名为Muse，并在Dangerous Records发行首张同名EP《Muse》。1998年，Muse又发行了一张EP唱片《Muscle Museum》。此时，Muse开始得到英国评论界和歌迷的一致好评。在参加完当年纽约的CMJ音乐节之后，Muse与Maverick Records正式签约。Muse(缪斯乐队)三位成员技术非常硬核，擅长旋律创作，现场水平非常优秀。在1999年推出第一张专辑之后，就有了“英伦摇滚新救世主”的称号。他们的摇滚既有传统英伦摇滚的迷人和深刻，又有前卫摇滚的实验风格。
